National Days of Service
National Days of Service is for commemoration, unite, and encourage individuals and organizations across the country to make volunteering a part of their lives. Volunteering during Days of Service makes an impact in local communities each year.
AmeriCorps Week- March 10-16
Celebrate the impact of the AmeriCorps programs and offer our thanks to each one for volunteering to serve others.
National Volunteer Week-April 20-26
National Volunteer Week is a weeklong celebration for inspiring individuals whose invaluable kindness is to volunteer to better serve their local community and country.
September 11
September 11th is Patriot Day and a day of Remembrance. On this day individuals across the country volunteer in their local communities in memory to the individuals we lost or injured in the attacks, first responders, and other individuals in service.
MLK Day- January 20
Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a day each year when individuals across the country commit to volunteering in their communities on behalf of Dr. King’s dream. Each year an observance on the third Monday in January a federal holiday is designated as a National Day of Service.
